Beef Bourguignon

MASTERCLASS INGREDIENT BOX RECIPE | COOK: 15MINS

BEEF:

1. Pre-made beef bouguignon

VEGETABLES:

1. Baby potatoes

2. Carrots

3. Caper butter

METHOD:

  1. Fill a pot with water and boil potatoes for 15 minutes.

  2. Cut the green of carrots off and set aside, we will use for garnish later

  3. Bring another pot of boiling water to the boil then lower the heat to low. Drop the bag of beef in, put the lid on and heat for 15 minutes

  4. In a pan, heat a splash of your preferred oil over a medium heat. Add the carrots to the pan. Cook these until they begin to blister, this is when they have cooked through and will be nice and tender to eat.

  5. Strain the potatoes and add most of the butter, the heat from the potatoes will allow it to melt and coat all the potatoes.

  6. To plate up, add all beef (from the bag), potatoes and carrot alongside each other. Garnish with some chopped carrot leaves and remaining caper butter on vegetables.

Bon appétit!
